The primary purpose is to; improve collaboration & information sharing, provide convenient mobile access to study reference materials, tools, enhanced communication and to promote engagement among study teams and investigator sites. The CIRS App is an interactive tool to measure comorbidity. It was developed to provide healthcare professionals with information on the 'Cumulative Illness Rating Scale for Geriatrics' (commonly abbreviated to CIRS-G), and to help them calculate a patient's biological fitness based on a ratified CIRS-G scoring assessment. The app is for guidance only, does not replace expert medical opinion and is not deemed to be a medical device within the terms of the Medical Devices Directive 93/42/EEC.

L’application Roche Oncoscale, réalisée en collaboration avec le Pr Gilles Freyer (CHU Lyon) et le Pr Marc Bonnefoy (CHU Lyon) contient différents outils « d’évaluation gériatrique de dépistage » permettant une évaluation simple, peu consommatrice de temps médical, reproductible, reposant sur des outils validés, aboutissant à améliorer la qualité des décisions prises :
- en repérant certaines fragilités, patentes ou potentielles (dénutrition, trouble de la cognition, cardiopathie, isolement …) afin d’en confier l’évaluation plus approfondie au gériatre
- en adaptant la prise en charge oncologique aux impératifs gériatriques, tel que cela a pu être décrit à différentes reprises dans la littérature.
L’application Oncoscale a pour but d’aider l’oncologue dans la prise en charge de la personne âgée qu’il voit en consultation en permettant une saisie en temps réel et surtout une restitution synthétique des différents paramètres d’évaluation :
- Score G-8 : il permet de dépister les patients âgés (> 70 ans) atteints d’un cancer justifiant d’une évaluation gériatrique approfondie et d’une prise en charge adaptée
- Score de Lee pour l’évaluation du risque de mortalité à 4 ans
